Hi, welcome to my site! I am a guitarist, guitar tutor and songwriter based in the Llandaff/Fairwater area of Cardiff.

I teach electric, classical, acoustic and bass guitar across a wide range of styles. My pupils range from ages 6 to 60+ and go from complete beginner to diploma level.  I work from my own studio, allowing pupils to learn in a professional environment. I also provide tuition on music theory, ear training, songwriting, arranging, recording, GCSE music and A Level music. I offer lessons in both Welsh and English.

I have worked as a session guitarist on various recording and live projects over the years, currently with Multi Award Winning Lady GaGa Tribute Donna Marie . Over the last few  years we have played shows in Spain, Russia and Switzerland as well as all over the UK in venues such as Nottingham Motorpoint Arena, Liverpool Echo Arena and Birmingham NEC. I have a Bmus and M.A. from the Cardiff University music department.

 

I also write music for my own projects - Rock/Rap/Reggae band Codewalkers (BBC Horizons artists) and Welsh chamber pop act Derw, receiving airplay on BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru.
